1. The service
Kuukauden Kirja is a book membership run by Unattended Oy. Each month the member picks one new book from the selection, and we deliver it to the address the member has given.
2. Membership and payment
The membership starts when the first book is paid. The first book costs €14.90 and applies to the first membership only. After that we charge €19.90 on the 25th of each month, unless the member has skipped the month or cancelled. Prices include VAT. The payment is charged to the saved payment card.
3. Credits
Each successful charge gives one credit. One credit buys one book. A credit is valid for 12 months from the date it was issued. Credits cannot be exchanged for money.
4. Skipping and cancelling
The member can skip a month during the picking window, in which case there is no charge for that month. The membership can be cancelled at any time from the member's account. Cancelling stops future charges immediately. Books already paid for are delivered and unused credits stay valid until they expire.
5. Delivery
We deliver books with Posti to the address or pickup point the member has given. Delivery is included in the price. If a publisher cannot deliver an ordered book, we cancel the pick, return the credit and notify the member by email.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Act. The right does not apply to a book whose delivery has begun with the consumer's express consent. Contact customer service to withdraw.
