How Kuukauden Kirja works
One calendar, a few rules. Here they are in full.
The monthly calendar
- The 1st
- The picking window opens. We publish the month's books and send an email.
- The 1st to 7th
- Pick a book, change your pick, or skip the month.
- The 5th
- A reminder for members who have neither picked nor skipped.
- The 8th
- The window closes. We order the books from the publishers.
- When the books arrive
- We pack and ship. You get a tracking code.
- The 22nd
- Notice of the upcoming charge.
- The 25th
- Charge of €19.90 unless you skipped. You get one credit for the next window.
Credits
One credit is one book. A credit does not vanish at the end of the month; it stays valid for 12 months. With two credits you can pick two books in the same window.
Skipping
Skip the month during the window and there is no charge on the 25th. Your picks and credits do not change. You can undo the skip during the window.
Cancelling
Cancel from your account at any time. Charges stop immediately. Books you have paid for still ship, and unused credits stay valid until they expire.
